Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 24 September 2025

Plasma Army is committed to protecting your privacy and handling data responsibly in accordance with applicable law, decentralized best practices, and privacy-by-design principles. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Plasma Army website (plasma.army), the MemePad application, and related community services (collectively, the “Platform”).

1. Introduction

At Plasma Army, we respect the privacy and autonomy of our users — the builders, creators, and community members who make the Plasma Network thrive.

We collect only the minimal information necessary to operate the Platform, improve functionality, and maintain security. Plasma Army is a non-custodial, permissionless, and decentralized application, and users remain in full control of their data and wallets.

2. Data Collection

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect limited information that you voluntarily share, such as:

  • User Communications: When you contact us (e.g., via email or community channels) for support or feedback.

  • Wallet Address: Your public wallet address is required to interact with the MemePad smart contracts. This address is used solely to facilitate on-chain operations and analytics.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

To improve performance and protect the Platform, we may collect non-personal, technical data such as:

  • Device & Usage Information: Browser type, operating system, referral URLs, system configuration, and interaction metrics.

  • Interaction Data: Pages visited, buttons clicked, or contracts deployed — used only in aggregated form for analytics and debugging.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you use integrated services (e.g., analytics dashboards, DEX links, or partner sites), those third parties may collect additional data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Plasma Army does not control third-party data collection.

2.4 Data Minimization

We apply a privacy-by-design philosophy — collecting and retaining only what is essential to deliver and secure the Platform. Whenever possible, we use pseudonymous identifiers (like wallet addresses) instead of personal data.

3. Use of Information

3.1 Platform Operation

We use limited data to:

  • Enable permissionless token deployments and MemePad functions.

  • Provide system monitoring, analytics, and performance insights.

  • Respond to user or community inquiries.

3.2 Security & Compliance

We may process minimal data to:

  • Detect and mitigate fraud, spam, or abusive behavior.

  • Investigate suspicious activity or technical issues.

  • Comply with applicable legal requirements (e.g., security incident response).

3.3 Analytics and Improvement

Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us:

  • Analyze Platform performance and usage trends.

  • Improve functionality, accessibility, and stability of smart contract interactions.

No personal or identifying data is sold, shared, or used for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Plasma Army may reference or integrate with third-party DeFi platforms, block explorers, or community tools. Your interactions with these third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies. Plasma Army has no control over — and assumes no responsibility for — third-party data handling practices.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Plasma Army does not use tracking cookies or behavioral analytics by default. Certain third-party integrations (e.g., error monitoring or analytics tools) may use cookies to ensure functionality. You can disable cookies via your browser settings, but some site features may not work as intended.

6. Security Measures

We implement security and privacy best practices, including:

  • Encryption-in-transit (TLS/SSL) for all communications.

  • Role-based access control for infrastructure and data.

  • Regular audits and security reviews of our smart contracts (conducted by Cyberscope).

  • Minimal data storage and separation of sensitive systems.

Plasma Army follows a privacy-by-default engineering approach, ensuring your data exposure remains minimal and within your control.

7. Data Retention

We retain only limited, non-personal data as long as necessary for:

  • Platform operation and improvement,

  • Legal or regulatory compliance, or

  • Security and audit requirements.

Non-identifiable analytics may be stored in aggregated form to support transparency and reporting.

8. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under privacy laws (e.g., GDPR) such as:

  • Access: Request information we hold about you.

  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or outdated data.

  • Erasure: Request deletion of data we control off-chain.

Note: On-chain data (e.g., wallet addresses, transactions) is immutable and cannot be deleted.

  • Restriction or Objection: Limit certain types of processing.

  • Portability: Request your data in a commonly used format, where technically feasible.

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and decentralization limitations.

9. International Data Transfers

Data processed by Plasma Army may be transmitted through servers or services located in various jurisdictions. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of data in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18 years old or anyone lacking legal capacity to engage with blockchain applications. Plasma Army does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has interacted with the Platform, contact us at [email protected] for prompt data removal (where feasible).

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Plasma Army may update or revise this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
